Parkway Drive is an Australian band that plays Metalcore. The band was formed in 2003 and their current record label is Resist Records. The name Parkway Drive comes from a street name in Byron Bay where the band used to practice. Current band members include; Winston McCall - Vocals, Ben Gordon - Drums, Jeff Ling - Guitar, Luke Kilpatrick - Guitar and Jia "Pipey" O'Connor - Bass. Parkway Drive traveled to the USA in May 2005 to record their first album "Killing with a Smile". Then in 2007, they released their 2nd album "Horizons". They have also released 3 EPs from 2003 to 2006 including: I Killed the Prom Queen/Parkway Drive Split (Final Prayer) - 2004, Don't Close Your Eyes - 2004, Don't Close Your Eyes - 2006. They performed at the following venues in late 2006: Soundwave Festival, Homebake Festival, Resist Records' tour, Sound Fest and Gravity G Festival. They also layed amongst the following bands on the Taste of Chaos Tour: e Anti-Flag, Underoath, Thursday, Senses Fail, Taking Back Sunday and Saosin.
